Unite Britain March, London 26th October 2024 FSB's account of the hugely and totally peaceful march for freedom

It was touch and go whether we could make it, but we did and arrived at Victoria just after 11 to find the march lined up and ready to go, the whole area a sea of flags: English, Irish, Scottish, Welsh, US, Israeli, Iranian and, of course, the proud old Union Flag. The mood was friendly, jovial and welcoming. Nobody wore masks.

The march set off about ten minutes later, with us near the front. We couldn’t see the end. The DT, in a highly mendacious report to which I will refer later, estimated that the marchers numbered about 25,000.  Now I don’t know how many they were, but I’m certain it was way more than that, maybe five times more, maybe even more. We saw young children, teenagers, young adults, the middle-aged and the elderly, mostly white but a large sprinkling of non-whites, giving lie to the racist epithet.

Zhang Ying Yue made a new friend, a lone Chinese woman originally from Hong Kong and carrying a Union Flag, and we spoke with people from all over Britain, Norway, France and the US.  One interesting chap, 30 years in Britain but originally from Sierra Leone in West Africa, told us of his dismay at the UK becoming as corrupt as many African countries.  The Norwegian mentioned that Norway does not have a real democracy as the main parties are all the same - and still determined to take the reluctant Norwegian people into the corrupt EU.

The march halted about halfway to Parliament Square for a full hour and a half. People waiting patiently, striking up conversations with like-minded strangers, and occasionally singing.  It was here that the police presence was first seen.  They were not wearing the yellow vests they usually do for pro-Hamas marches, but were not in full riot gear, though they carried their helmets. For the most part they were decent enough, many even friendly, but wholly inflexible in the ‘I’m just following orders’ approach so prevalent these days. They had barricaded many exits off, for example the road from Parliament Square to Westminster tube station, and would not allow anyone to pass, even people in wheelchairs or the visibly wilting elderly.  No, all were forced to go back to Victoria station, a walk that took us 30 minutes.

People were carrying flags and placards with two major themes: free Tommy Robinson and justice for Peter Lynch - a minutes' silence was held in his memory, respectfully observed by everyone there. Many wore ‘I am Peter Lynch’ T-shirts, and there were frequent chants in support of Tommy Robinson, remanded in custody on absurd terrorist-related charges and for refusing to give the police the pin number to his mobile phone, in order to protect his contacts and sources as a journalist who, had he handed them over, would soon be on the Establishment’s hit list. Has any leftist or Islamist been treated so harshly?

FSB has been criticised many times for supporting Robinson, but we are steadfast in doing so. It doesn’t matter whether you like him as a person, possibly put off by his rough and rowdy past, but if you value free speech, personal liberty, the freedom of your country and are proud to be British, nobody in this country has suffered more for those things than Tommy Robinson.  Nigel Farage doesn’t even come close.

Talking of Farage and Reform, at the last rally we covered, that in Trafalgar Square in July this year, the people gathered in their tens of thousands were asked to cheer the party they intended to vote for. Reform got by far the loudest cheer.  Yesterday, the attendees were asked to raise their hands if they intended to vote Reform. Some did, but they were very much in the minority, and the majority of the crowd booed when Reform was mentioned. Clearly, Reform UK has lost the support of many patriotic conservatives because of its stance on Tommy Robinson. A former Reform member spoke of him being thrown out of the party merely for apologising to Robinson after he realised the depth and extent of the lying propaganda put out about him, lies that he had believed.

We were then asked, ‘who will you vote for?’ - just before a speech by ‘the next leader of UKIP’, who, he said, is back, and undergoing something of a resurgence. Certainly, their manifesto is the best I’ve seen. Their next leader, Nick Tenconi, had no time for Farage or Reform, dismissing them as little better than the Tories and, ultimately, under the control of the Globalist Blob, a safety valve if you like and pointing out that Farage is too Establishment, too comfortable and is no radical.  Mr Tenconi does appear to be the real thing, and his speech really resonated with the crowd. I agreed with him, and liked the cut of his jib, but he’s pretty fierce and I suspect that many, especially the southern middle class, might find him a bit too intense.  UKIP do seem to be worth considering though, if you have doubts about Farage’s reliability or stomach for a real fight.

A very good interview of Andrew Bridgen by one of the sapeakers, Paul Thorpe, is here.

On arriving in Parliament Square there was a stage and two large screens, and a long list of speakers. The courageous , robbed of his seat in what was very likely a rigged election - Andrew Bridgen gave a very good speed and got a rousing response; Iranian-born Tousi of Youtube fame was warmly greeted, and a harrowing film of the Muslim rape gang victims was shown. Short speeches by a group of young French women on the dangerous state France is in for women as a result of mass immigration from Africa, got a very warm response, and a French fellow who gave a speech entirely in French got a hearty cheer. A rousing speech from an American was very well received.

This has got to be the way forward. As well as uniting Britain, and creating an umbrella mass movement for all the disparate patriotic conservative groups and publications here, we also need to join with similar groups across the western world, similarly resisting the woke globalist attempt to destroy western culture and civilisation in their insane, perverted attempt to create a totalitarian, borderless global government.

Talking about the insane, perverted attempt to create a totalitarian, borderless one world government, I understand its supporters were also out yesterday, though we saw no sign of them. The DT estimated their numbers at 20,000, and the ‘host of the patriot march said he’d been watching them on his phone, and that large numbers were masked and clearly looking for trouble. Several were arrested – though of course the lying Daily Telegraph’s headline was “Police make several arrests after far-Right demonstrators clash with anti-fascist counter-protest” next to a headline implying that the statue of Winston Churchill in Parliament Square had to be fenced off to protect it from the ‘far right’.

This mendacious piece goes out of its way to smear Robinson and those who marched yesterday. It is unclear about those arrested, most from the mob of fascists trying to oppose free speech, the so-called anti-racist renta-mob obsessed with race, repeatedly using phrases like ‘Police mounted a major operation as anti-racist counter-protesters marched nearby in large numbers to oppose the far Right”.

(Two arrests were made at the counter-protest. Police intervened near the Stand Up To Racism stage to arrest a woman for common assault. She was later de-arrested after agreeing to provide her details. A further arrest was made after an officer was assaulted when a group tried to push through a cordon at the end of The Mall.)

The DT also informed readers that Robinson is “due to appear at Woolwich Crown Court on Monday for a two-day hearing concerning allegations that he breached a 2021 High Court order barring him from repeating libellous allegations against a Syrian refugee who successfully sued him” – failing to mention that everything Robinson said has been proven to be true. Speakers at the march and a film showed this and emphasised the shameful actions of the Establishment judge who called young victims of the ‘Syrian refugee’ and their families liars, as he shamelessly perverted the course of justice in finding Robinson guilty. They will obviously let nothing stand in their way in persecuting Robinson to destruction, least of all the truth. Only their ‘truth’ is allowed now.

In summary, the march was a peaceful demonstration by tens of thousands of ordinary people fearful for their future, the future of their country, their children and grandchildren and who can see that the policies been forced down our throats – with no democratic mandate and little support - like the transfer of sovereignty to international bodies such as the UN, uncontrolled mass immigration, the elimination of free speech, the persecution of opponents through lawfare, and the lunatic net zero rules they are using to impoverish us are the poison they are.

If you are in general agreement with this assessment of the state of things, we really do need to start taking action, come what may. Our ancestors risked all to stand up for freedom. We need to be prepared, like Tommy Robinson, to do the same. We are ruled by evil people doing evil things, and there’s nobody but us to stop them.
