Once upon a time, not so far away, companies sold products and services without trying to impose upon us the morals of a 21st-century woke academic. You could buy a cup of tea without being lectured on the importance of sustainable camelia senensis farming in Ceylon, or purchase a steak without an attempt at making you feel guilty about cow farts.
But now it seems that many a company has "gone woke," and FSB says it's high time that we, the public, take a stand and boycott these snotty, self-righteous, sanctimonious enterprises – and the advertising companies they use. Try to ram DEI down our throats? Crawl way and die.
We do not want your woke crap, and there are always alternatives. We turn off at the first mention of ‘Fair Trade,’ ‘Ethically Sourced’, ‘Carbon Neutral’ and ‘Sustainable’. And all the multicultural ads, with mixed race families and dominant women don’t just put us off they get our dander up.
We are sick of the hypocrisy from companies preaching about environmentalism while their products are wrapped in three layers of plastic, and from the tech giants that champions human rights but have factories with working conditions that would make a Dickensian orphan weep.
Any idiot CEO that changes the company their logos to rainbow colours for ‘Pride Month’ must be made aware that there will be adverse consequences – and we do that by boycotting all companies that sign up to the woke agenda.
So, dear reader, it's time to take a stand. Let's boycott these woke companies and send a message that we don't need their lectures and force them to go back to a simpler time when a cup of coffee was just a cup of coffee, and a steak was just a steak. Who's with us?
If you are, please let us know in the comments below which companies that deserve boycotting and why, and not forgetting to mention any honourable alternatives.
(And you can use this page to let us and fellow readers know of any company that should be boycotted because they provide a rubbish service.)
