Mrs A insisted that I did a short piece on this young man, who she says is going to be up there with all-time greats like Yehudi Menuhin, Isaac Stern and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Even I, not really a classical music fan, can recognise the talent and virtuosity on display in this video, in which he reduces Placido Domingo to tears.

Teo started playing at the age of three and a half, and today, aged 16, he has won major international music competitions. A prodigy indeed.
