The British government forces the British taxpayer to give tens of millions of pounds to France every year to stop illegal immigrants leaving French beaches for Britain. Predictably, the French laugh, take the money, and wave the migrants on their way - to complete indifference from the British Establishment. Farage has said the obvious, that we should stop paying the French unless they do what we pay them to do, and many in the Establishment are apoplectic.
And Julian Assange is now in the US colony of Saipan, in the Northern Marianas, a remote couple of islands in the Pacific awaiting a hearing in which he will plead guilty to Conspiracy to Receive National Defense Information. The other 17 charges the US accused him of have been dropped, but he is likely to be sentenced to 62 months' in jail, offset by the time he spent locked up in Britain.
