Reeves' financial review is surely a cover for tax rises, and for blaming the Tories for them. The Tories will be partly to blame, and they would almost certainly have raised taxes themselves, yet again. But spending cuts............?
We should all unreservedly condemn the bombing of a hospital, but don't swallow the propaganda around it. We have been fed too many lies about the war in Ukraine for that. Hamas routinely fires missiles at Israel from hospitals, thus making them legitimate targets under the laws of war. Ukraine has been known to fire missiles from residential areas thus inviting legitimate retaliation. And Ukraine also shells Russian civilians, and has been shelling its own Russian-speaking citizens in Eastern Ukraine for ten years. We don't know exactly what happened yet.
