The Labour government is doing nothing to deter illegal immigration, quite the opposite in fact.
In a move they say is a means of clearing the 100,000-plus asylum backlog - almost all of whom will be given leave to stay and will be entitiled to full benefits after five years - Starmer plans to increase spending on immigration legal aid from £47 million per year to £61 million, or a thirty per cent increase.
If you voted Labour, hang your head in shame.
