Following the killings of three young girls in Southport on July 29, 2025, by Axel Rudakubana and almost total silence from the authorities, protests sprang up across the North of England. Some turned ugly, because of aggressive protesters, but also sometimes aggressive police. Hundreds were arrested and herded into rapid-fire kangaroo courts where, often after being told to plead guilty to get a reduced sentence, they were handed out politically motivated sentences of the utmost severity. The woke terror continued, and people were given savage sentences for posting thing on-line the Establishment didn’t like.
Many were shocked at the sentences handed out. Take Bradley McCarthy, 34, by no means the worst example of judicial extremism. He joined an anti-immigration march on 3rd August in Bristol and was arrested for breach of the peace after “interacting with left-wing protesters” and “engaging in football-style chants”. He was let go by the police but was later arrested for “shouting at police officers and also shouting in a police dog's face”.
He hurt nobody. The dog made no complaint. But he was jailed for 20 months.
The judge, Julian Lambert said: 'The unrest has been fuelled by misinformation circulating largely on social media. “Right-wing extremists and racists have been intent on provoking violence directed at innocent people and the police whose role it is to protect us all.”
(This tells us all we need to know about the judge? And of course, it has been shown that much of the misinformation came from the government.)
Worse, much worse, a Liverpool taxi-driver was jailed for seven and a half years for spreading misinformation following the Southport attack. Andrew McIntyre, 39, who set up a Telegram channel called “Southport Wake Up”, was jailed by Judge Neil Flewitt KC, who, in a case held in 2023, jailed a man for inflicting grievous bodily harm and separately for inflicting actual bodily harm for only 18 months and 27 months, to be served consecutively.
And if this is not enough to cause outrage, I give you the egregious case of leftwing Labour MP Mike Amesbury, who yesterday walked free from jail after winning appeal against a mere 10-week sentence for actual bodily harm after assaulting a constituent who was arguing with him in a car park.
In the early hours of 26th October last year, Amesbury punched the man in the head, knocked him down and then punched him in the face again at least five times, all caught on video. The Labour MP pleaded guilty to assault.
At one point during the argument the constituent started to walk away but was stopped by Amesbury. The man put his hands in his pockets and turned towards the taxi queue, but Amesbury punched him in the head, knocking him to the ground. There was no sign of the victim being aggressive or threatening and he did not retaliate after being punched.
However the judge, Tanveer Ikram, saw fit to give the lightest of sentences, jailing the violent MP for only ten weeks.
This is the same judge that judge that faced criticism after he “decided not to punish” three Muslim women who were convicted of terrorism offences and allowed to walk free, and who ‘liked’ a social media post that branded Israel a “terrorist” and called for a “free Palestine”.
Shockingly, after spending only three days in jail, the left-wing MP was back in court appealing the verdict, telling it that he only lashed out “because he was terrified, the other man's arms were swinging" and that he felt he had no option but to "defend" himself. The judge rightly dismissed this saying that the CCTV pictures revealed a very different story and "in reality, you told the police a pack of lies. Nothing more, nothing less," before going on to question why a charge of affray - which can carry a longer sentence - had not been brought by the prosecution. Why indeed?
But despite this, the judge suspended Amesbury’s sentence for two years and released him immediately.
Now I don’t think I’ll be alone in finding all of this offensively very fishy. Can you imagine what sentence Tommy Robinson would get for punching somebody in the face, knocking them to the ground and repeatedly punching them in the face. One thing is certain, it wouldn’t be a ten-week suspended sentence. And the Establishment shamelessly lie that there is no two-tier policing or justice!
The judge who released Amesbury got a bollicking last year for making ‘inappropriate’ comments about a Chinese defendant in his sentencing remarks, held to include “negative generalisations” that amounted to misconduct. He's the same judge, Steven Everett, who put a 53 year old woman away for 20 months for 'stirring up hatred' on Facebook.
I can’t help but speculate that he was working his way into the wokey-cokey good books by sucking up to an Establishment desperate to avoid a by-election and another Reform MP in parliament.
Tommy Robinson got 18 months for contempt of court, but given the obviously biased, politicised nature of the British judicial system, how is possible not to hold the whole rotten edifice in contempt?
So come you good folk of Runcorn and Helsby, get your fingers out and re-call your low-life, good for nothing MP. This socialist, with a degree in Community Studies, has never had a proper job and obviously thinks he’s a cut above mere constituents. You deserve better. Vote Reform.
