What Would It Take For Me To Vote For Badenoch’s Tories? Here's my demands.

In all honesty, I can’t imagine voting Tory ever again, the lies and the betrayals have just been too great. But just as an exercise in imagination, and assuming that there are no better alternatives, like Reform UK, Ukip or the Monster Raving Loony Party, here’s what Badenoch’s Tories would have to do to get me to even think about voting for them.

Firstly, they would need to make a confession. Badenoch would have to admit that the Tories had been captured by anti-British woke globalists and had not governed in the best interests of the British people for all their 14 years in power.  They also need to admit that they tried to scupper Brexit and have done nothing to make it succeed – and that the covid lockdown was unnecessary, had little or no effect on the spread of the damage and that it did an extreme amount of economic and societal harm - and that there are legitimate concerns about the mRNA vaccine's safety.

Secondly, she would have to swear an oath that, on winning the next election, she would change the law to make a party manifesto legally binding and to make it an actionable offence with a mandatory prison sentence for the PM to break the promises in the manifesto or fail to carry out all promises made in it.

Thirdly she would have to have a manifesto ready to hand, to include all the following legally binding contract with the British people:

No new laws without a referendum.

All Tory MPs to put it in writing and making it legally binding upon them that they agree in full with all the provisions in the manifesto and will vote in favour of all of them.

Any MP who fails to agree to this will be de-selected.

An MP can be subjected to recall and a by-elction held if 20% of eligible voters sign a recall petition.

Then, going forward, all MPs to be selected solely as constituency level, with no involvement by Central Office.

Within the first month of taking office we will leave the ECHR and pass legislation unambiguously making British law supreme above all international treaties.

In the same period the UK Supreme Court will be abolished and the previous regime restored, along with the supremacy of Common Law and trial by jury for all offences carrying a prison sentence.

All hate crime, diversity and affirmative action laws and practices to be repealed and/or made illegal.

Free speech for all except direct incitement to violence to be enshrined in law.

All censorship laws, written, broadcast and social media, to be repealed.

Equality before the law for all British citizens to be confirmed.

All multicultural laws and practices in government to be ended.

The supremacy of British culture to be declared and promoted.

No taxpayer money to be given to charities, NGOs or foreign countries in any circumstances.

Only British citizens to be eligible for taxpayer funded benefits or support of any kind.

All immigration to be stopped for at least five years.

Immigrant communities to be encouraged to become British.

All funding for anything specifically Islamic to be ended, including mosques and Islamic schools.

The practice of Sharia law to be made illegal.

Halal food to be labelled as such.

All Muslim Imams to be licensed by the State after achieving a state-mandated qualification.

In cases where it is proven that Britain will benefit from specific immigrants, a work visa to be issued for a maximum of five years. Upon completion the migrant will return to his own country – and the company employing him will train his replacement during that period.

All foreign citizens in British prisons to be deported within one year. Any foreigner committing a crime to be deported immediately with no leave of appeal.

All illegal immigrants to be treated as criminals and deported. Pending deportation, they are to be housed in prisons or secure accommodation in remote areas with basic amenities only.

A referendum on restoring the death penalty for those found guilty of premeditated murder to be held.

All children to be taught British history, the good and the bad.

All children, of whatever faith, are to be taught Christianity.

Grammar and Technical Schools to be restored.

The NHS to be abolished and replaced with private provision of health care paid for by private insurance and, where necessary, the taxpayer.

All schools to be private, paid for by the taxpayer, with parents given freedom of choice.

Transgenderism to be dismissed as the idiocy that it is.

No funding for any form of identity politics.

A legal cap of 40% of GDP for government spending to be made legally binding.

A flat rate tax of 20% to be introduced and made law.

The Civil Service to be reduced by a minimum of 40%.

The public sector to be reduced by the same.

The House of Lords to ne abolished and replaced with a chamber of 200 made up of 50 elected members, 50 representatives from the world of business, 50 from professions like medicine, engineering, science etc (maximum two lawyers) and 50 picked at random like jury members.

Councillors to have a legal right to control spending.

MPs to be paid the average national wage with a bonus proportionately increasing with GDP per person.

The British government to buy British where possible.

All government services to be contracted out and three quotations received for all purchases.

The government to repeal all net zero laws and practices and declare net zero to be an absurdity.

Britain should be made self-sufficient in energy.

All ‘renewable’ energy subsidies to be stopped.

There will be massive investment in small nuclear plants.

The ban on fracking to be lifted.

North Sea oil and gas exploration and extraction to be encouraged.

Manufacturing to be encouraged.

All legislation introduced by this Labour government to be repealed.

All quangoes to be abolished.

I’m sure there are many more that I will think of in the next few weeks, but the above would be the minimum.  What do you think?
