John Marlow is an 87 year old granddad. He worked for 40 years as a Scientist in Research and Development before retiring to France 25 years ago. He has refurbished his 350 year old farm worker’s cottage and transformed a 1¼ acre bramble wilderness into a beautiful garden. He spends lots of time watching red squirrels and many species of birds as they, too, enjoy the garden. Deer come in the hot summer months to drink from the rainwater pool.
